Portland’s South Waterfront

By Jolynne Ash

October 20th, 2007 ·

SouthWaterfront The South Waterfront residential towers offer an unprecedented combination of urban sophistication and access to nature. The Meriwether, John Ross, Atwater Place, and 3720 are some of the most thoughtfully designed buildings available in Portland and the Pacific Northwest. The towers were designed to minimize light pollution by refracting light, which saves energy and helps to preserve our view of the constellations. All the buildings in South Waterfront will be LEED certified, use the latest in sustainable building practices, and achieve a small footprint. This means more light and air, reduced operating costs, improved indoor air quality, a clean conscience, and a happier, healthier you.

A newly launched website for this area is worth checking out: SouthWaterfront.com

Due to the current slow down in the real estate market, some of the newly planned projects are switching from condos to apartments.  Be sure to do your research if you are looking at investing in this market.
