I was just browsing the web today and found this great website — www.PortlandPicks.com. It’s fun reading, easy to navigate and full of SO much information! Readers are able to sign up for a subscription to it or just go visit this site every Friday for the newest issue. You can also access past issues in the Archives tab.
Each issue has a beginning theme with a short article that most everyone can relate to. Many times it’s about the writers experiences and usually a funny situation you can relate to. After the article is a list of ideas to check out around Portland and can include food, bars, clothing, designers, kid stuff and even hotels.
At the top of their page, there are tabs to click on. One is a monthly calendar of “hip happenings” in the Portland area. Definitely worth taking a look at and finding new and interesting activities.
